has been updated and changed location since the original Lancet work was published.   Initially the data and some discussion of analysis were available from http://clinicalproteomics.steem.com and a mirroring site, http://ncifdaproteomics.com.  While these links were active during the summer of 2004 these links are currently (November 2004) not functional.  While I have cached copies of relevant webpages from http://ncifdaproteomics.com (as of May and June 2004) that were used as a basis for my paper these pages are no longer generally accessible.

The raw data are available (last checked 2/17/05) from
http://home.ccr.cancer.gov/ncifdaproteomics/ppatterns.asp though now there is less discussion of the algorithm that produced the results.
